[Breaking News] WWE Raw Rating Absolutely Bombs This Week - Details
The July 30th airing of WWE Raw on USA had a 2.51 cable rating, with a 1.83 in the male 18-49 demographic, a 1.99 in the male 18-34 demographic and an average audience of 3.4 million viewers.
Raw hasn't had a rating so low since December 31, 2001, when it scored 2.4 which wasn't surprising since it was New Year's Eve and a "Year In Review" episode.
The last time the rating got close to 2.5 was July 4, 2005, when the show scored a 2.6. Again, not much of a shoch as the ratings are often low for episodes broadcast on holidays. More recently, the last episode of Raw that got a rating under 3.0 was the December 25, 2006 episode of Raw scored a 2.7, another holiday episode.
Maybe it's time WWE think about hiring Legends Championship Wrestling creator Christian Calaway as a writer or a consultant. Just a thought. :)
