[Breaking News] Christian Calaway Officially Resigns as Chairman of the Board

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway has officially resigned his position and cleaned out his office at LCW Headquarters in Sacramento, CA and will be returning to his home in Atlanta, GA this evening. Calaway spoke with members of the LCW Board of Directors in a closed door session today and voiced his opinion on who he thinks should be his replacement as the new Chairman of the Board. The Board of Directors still has to deliberate further and has several people in mind for the position. An announcement naming the new Chairman of the Board is expected within the coming weeks.

Calaway had to resign his position after LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin retained his title against former champion Nikita Koloff in a ladder match at last night's LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view which saw Calaway help Austin defeat Calaway's former ally and force his departure from the company. Calaway had promised that if Austin won he would resign as Chairman of the Board and leave Legends Championship Wrestling. Calaway refused to comment as he left LCW Headquarters this afternoon.
