[Breaking News] Hulk Hogan Leaving LCW?! Vacating Title?! Piper?!

Hulk Hogan, the reigning LCW International Champion, spoke with the LCW Board of Directors this morning and announced that he would be relinquishing his championship at LCW Showdown this week only one week after learning that Rowdy Roddy Piper had been named the number one contender for the LCW International Championship at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view on Sunday, November 25th, only on LCWRedemptionDay.com.

Hogan will be leaving Legends Championship Wrestling to deal with personal family issues involving his son, Nick Hogan, who was arrested last Wednesday morning on felony charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury from an August car accident that saw his passenger John Graziano badly injured and hospitalized. Hogan has opted to vacate his title and leave LCW to focus on his son and family during this difficult time.

Hogan was shocked to learn that the returning Piper, his long-time rival, had been named the number one contender for his title after Magnum TA and Big Van Vader, the last two men in a twenty man battle royal to determine the number one contender, both eliminated each other at the same time. However, his reason for leaving Legends Championship Wrestling was strictly because of his son's legal troubles and had nothing to do with Piper's return.

But what will happen to the LCW International Championship? Who will be the number one contender?

It has already been announced that Magnum TA and Big Van Vader. Magnum and Vader are certainly two of the top potential contenders for the title and they've enjoyed a competitive friendship for quite some time now. Magnum and Vader will face each other at LCW Redemption Day and you can be sure that their elimination of each other in last week's number one contenders battle royal will only add more fuel to their already competitive fire and to what promises to be a great match between these two legends at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view on Sunday, November 25th, only on LCWRedemptionDay.com. But could their match at LCW Redemption Day now be for the vacant LCW International Championship?

Or could the already scheduled match between former LCW International Champion Paul Orndorff, who Hogan defeated for the LCW International Championship at the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view on Sunday, October 11th, (for the complete results, visit LCWNightofHorrors.com) and Don Muraco, who helped Hogan win the title from Orndorff, be a match for the vacant LCW International Championship? Would Orndorff be able to regain his title or would Muraco be able to secure the win and the title?

Be sure to check out LCW Showdown this Wednesday only on LCWShowdown.com at 8PM EST to find out what will happen between Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper and what will happen to the LCW International Championship.
