[Editorial] WWE Developmental Talent Sheamus O'Shaunessy Debuts on LCW Showdown

From last night's episode of LCW Showdown:
LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway came out in a wheelchair and was helped into the ring by several security officials. Calaway said he had made a lot of mistakes in the past and he was now just looking for forgiveness and a second chance, but he knows he needs to start with one man. Calaway said, "I would like to see LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring right now…please." Austin came out and Calaway unsteadily struggled to stand up out of his wheelchair, said being shot had changed him and made him a different person, and asked Austin to forgive him for everything he had ever done to him and extended his hand for a handshake. Austin shook Calaway's hand and held onto it and said, "You said being shot had changed you. Well, it didn't change me you son of a bitch," and Austin hit Calaway with the Stone Cold Stunner. As Austin yelled at Calaway, a tall, redheaded man jumped over the security barricade and ran into the ring and hit Austin. From the broadcast booth, Tony Schiavone yelled, "That's Sheamus O'Shaunessy! That's got to be Sheamus O'Shaunessy! Calaway sent out an S.O.S., last week on Showdown. It all makes sense now! His S.O.S., was a call out to Sheamus O'Shaunessy!" O'Shaunessy hit Austin with the War Sword and then hit him with the FRH (Fiery Right Hand) before helping a dazed Calaway out of the ring as the show went off the air.

So, it was the "Irish Curse" Sheamus O'Shaunessy who would answer LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway's "S.O.S." We really should have seen it coming. We found out several weeks ago that Sheamus O'Shaunessy, the WWE developmental talent currently training in WWE's developmental territory FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling), was coming to Legends Championship Wrestling and was going to be a part of LCW storylines. When Calaway sent out the "S.O.S." two weeks ago, looking for someone to protect him from his many enemies, including Austin, after he was shot by The Iron Sheik, we should have been able to put two and two together. Get it? "S.O.S." are Sheamus O'Shaunessy's initials. Calaway was basically telling us who his new bodyguard was going to be without telling us. Calaway also said in the article announcing that O'Shaunessy was going to be featured in LCW storylines that he was probably going to be featured as a bodyguard. We really should have seen this coming.

In a statement released to LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com just this morning, Calaway said he didn't ask or tell O'Shaunessy to attack Austin and that O'Shaunessy's attack on Austin was a reactive move to Austin attacking Calaway and a reactive move that O'Shaunessy made on his own. Calaway said he wanted nothing but peace with Austin and he had changed since being shot by the Iron Sheik several weeks ago. Calaway may want peace with Austin, but if he does, having O'Shaunessy attack Austin probably isn't the way to go about getting that peace.

However, we wanted to give you a special look at Sheamus O'Shaunessy's two signature moves that he used on Austin last night on LCW Showdown, the War Sword and the FRH (Fiery Right Hand):
