[News Update] Randy Savage and Sheamus O'Shaunessy Forming Alliance?

After attacking LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, WWE developmental talent "The Irish Curse" Sheamus O'Shaunessy was giving the opportunity of a lifetime: a one-on-one match with the Texas Rattlesnake.

O'Shaunessy, the former bodyguard of LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway, who resigned earlier this week (click here for the complete story), made an immediate impact on LCW Showdown this past Wednesday, attacking Austin at the start of the show. Austin demanded a match with O'Shaunessy.

However, the main event match was marred by interference from Randy "Macho Man" Savage who returned at the LCW Redemption Day pay-per-view last Sunday and revealed himself to be the masked man who had been attacking Austin for the past several months and promised to take the LCW Universal Championship from Austin.

As Austin and Savage brawled with each other, O'Shaunessy regained his senses and, as Austin went to hit Savage with the Stone Cold Stunner, O'Shaunessy hit Austin with two of his signature moves: the War Sword and the FRH (Fiery Right Hand), a devastating combination of moves which has helped O'Shaunessy make quite an impact in Legends Championship Wrestling since debuting last month. This was the third time that Austin has been dominated with the devasating combination.

O'Shaunessy and Savage were not available for comment, but our sources have informed LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com that the duo have been holed up at Savage's residence in Sarasota, FL.

The source, who wish to remain unidentifed, said, "(Randy) Savage has always been a paranoid person, in both his personal and professional life and, even though he's taken the attack to Austin, he knows there's a target on his back and that Austin is gunning for him. He needs someone to watch his back and that's something that O'Shaunessy has experience with, being a bodyguard for both (former LCW Chairman of the Board) Christian Calaway and even Bono of U2. Savage and O'Shaunessy have been hiding out at Savage's home and one can only assume that they're planning their next assault on Austin."

The new partnership with Savage has even impacted O'Shaunessy's training at FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling), WWE developmental territory in Florida at which O'Shaunessy is training under the guidence of legend Steve Keirn.

The source said, "O'Shaunessy drives an hour from Savage's place in Sarasota to the FCW training facility in Tampa to train and then drives back another hour to Savage's place when he's done training. When he's not in the ring training, he's said to be distant and keeps to himself and is often on the phone, one would assume with Savage going over their plan of attack. All of O'Shaunessy's free time is spent planning and plotting with Savage. I can tell you this: whatever Savage and O'Shaunessy are planning, it's going to be big and it's not going to be good for Austin!"
