[News Update] Sheamus O'Shaunessy's Future in LCW in Doubt?

In light of FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) recently become the only developmental territory for WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), LCW Founder Christian Calaway spoke today with WWE developmental talent and featured LCW talent Sheamus O'Shaunessy about his future in Legends Championship Wrestling. After their meeting, Calaway and O'Shaunessy spoke with LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com.

Calaway said, "We're proud to have Sheamus as a part of our storylines and he's been a great addition to the roster since debuting last year. We'll be glad to continue featuring him as long as WWE allows us to. We hope he'll be a part of Legends Championship Wrestling until he's called up to the main WWE roster, and we know that will happen eventually, hopefully even sooner now that he's one step closer to the main stage."

O'Shaunessy is said to still be excited to be a part of Legends Championship Wrestling and feels honored that he's featured in LCW storylines alongside the legends of professional wrestling. O'Shaunessy told LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com that he would be a part of LCW as long as LCW Founder Christian Calaway would have him and as long as WWE would allow him to be a part of it.

O'Shaunessy, also known as "The Irish Curse" has been a featured talent in Legends Championship Wrestling storylines since last November. At 6'6'' and 280 pounds, the imposing O'Shaunessy was brought in as a bodyguard to protect then-Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway from LCW Universal Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. After Calaway resigned as Chairman of the Board, O'Shaunessy became the bodyguard for Macho Man Randy Savage during his feud with Austin. O'Shaunessy has since become a bodyguard for Savage's brother, The Genius Lanny Poffo.
