[Feature Story] Lady Amazon Suffers Tragic Miscarriage

After being checked out by medical officials, Lady Amazon was taken to Albany Memorial Hospital for further evaluation after suffering a tragic miscarriage during last night's edition of LCW Showdown.

Amazon was accidentally knocked off the ring apron by Ricky Morton during an eight-man tag team match. Click here for the complete results to last night's edition of LCW Showdown.

After being released from the hospital this morning, Amazon immediately boarded a plane bound for her native Tennessee. Amazon has reportedly been convelesing at home and was unavailable for comment.

It's unknown at this time if Amazon will be in the corner of the LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock 'n' Roll Express when they defend their LCW United States Tag Team Championships at the LCW Breaking Point pay-per-view this Sunday only on LCWBreakingPoint.com.

Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson were also unavailable for comment. During last night's show Amazon seemed angry with Gibson and especially Morton after the incident. Moront, who was deeply apologetic, seemed depressed afterwards and refused to speak with anyone as he and his partner left the building. It is rumored, however, that Amazon has spoken with Morton and Gibson and there is reportedly no animosity between the manager and the team she has led, during a remarkable undefeated streak, to the LCW United States Tag Team Championships.

LCW Founder Christian Calaway, in a statement released this morning to LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com, said, "Our primary concern at this time is Lady Amazon and her health and her safety. We want her to get better soon. She's a valuable asset not only to the Rock 'n' Roll Express, but also to Legends Championship Wrestling. We're glad that she's all right and taking the time that she needs to heal both mentally and physically after this tragic accident. As far as Breaking Point goes, I'm sure I speak for everyone including Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson when I say that no one would blame her if she is unable to make the event."
