Also, on this week's edition of LCW Showdown:
- LCW United States Champion Ken Patera successfully defended his title against Tully Blanchard at the LCW Uprising pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results), but defended the title only days later on LCW Showdown. One could say that Baby Doll's interference in an attempt to help Blanchard actually cost him the title, but with Baby Doll on the shelf, can Blanchard walk out with the gold? Also, we provide an update on Baby Doll's condition after she fell from the ring apron and injured her shoulder on the steel guard rail at the LCW Uprising pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results).
- Hollywood John Tatum won the LCW Television Championship from Manny Fernandez who valiantly defended his title after being beaten and stabbed by a group of thugs outside the arena last Sunday night at the LCW Uprising pay-per-view (click here for the complete results). But while Tatum has been strapped with the LCW Television Championship, Missy Hyatt has found herself strapped with something a little more unpleasant...a stalker! Tatum is in action defending his title against Sam Houston.
- Speaking of Manny Fernandez, Sean Mooney will interview Fernandez's doctor on the fallen champion's condition after being beaten and being stabbed by a group of thugs outside the arena at last Sunday night's LCW Uprising pay-per-view (click here for the complete results). And what, if anything, will Tully Blanchard have to say about the incident after Blanchard, who was leaving the arena and started the fight with the thugs, have to say about the stabbing and his unwillingness to let Fernandez into his car and take him to the hospital?
- Don Muraco demands some time on LCW Showdown from LCW Chairman of the Board Jim Crockett, Jr., but when Crockett refuses, Muraco takes out his frustration on Crockett which actually gets him a match with The Rock! But are the stakes too high, are the risks too great, and did Muraco get more than he asked for?
- LCW United States Tag Team Champions The Rock ānā Roll defend their titles against Abdullah the Butcher and Kevin Sullivan (with Luna Vachon) and, after being blamed for his team's loss at the LCW Uprising pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results) and walking out on partner Abdullah the Butcher and manager Kevin Sullivan, will the uncontrolable "Ugandan Giant" Kamala make his presense known in this match?
- LCW Heritage Champion Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin (with Precious) will defend his title against Terry Funk in another rematch from last Sunday night's LCW Uprising pay-per-view (click here for the complete results).
- In one of the more shocking moments from the LCW Uprising pay-per-view last Sunday night (click here for the complete results), Diamond Dallas Page came to the aid of The Rock and Rocky Johnson when Slick, Butch Reed and Tony Atlas triple teamed Rock and Johnson. Will the Rock return the favor and have Page's back when he faces Butch Reed one-on-one on LCW Showdown?
- LCW Founder, and former Chairman of the Board, Christian Calaway finally gets what he's been asking for, but will have to go through Stone Cold Steve Austin to get it. Is Calaway up to the challenge or is the challenge too great? Is the reward worth the risk?
All this and much, MUCH more only on this week's edition of LCW Showdown.
