[Breaking News] Names Announced For TV Title Mini-Gauntlet

LCW General Manager Nick Bockwinkel announced last night on LCW Showdown that next week's edition of LCW Showdown would consist of mini-gauntlet matches featuring the top four contenders for every championship in Legends Championship Wrestling with the winner going on face the respective champions on the following week's edition of LCW Showdown in two weeks.

Bockwinkel said that the mini-gauntlet matches are meant to act as a primer for the LCW Survival Project pay-per-view on September 21st only on LCWSurvivalProject.com in which 50 men will face each other in a single-elimination gauntlet tournament to determine the number one contenders for the LCW International Championship and the LCW Universal Championship. The man with the most eliminations that night will become the number one contender for the LCW International Championship while the man standing victorious at the end of the night, regardless of how many men he has eliminated, will become the number one contender for the top prize in Legends Championship Wrestling, the LCW Universal Championship. Bockwinkel announced last night on LCW Showdown
the names of the four men considered by the LCW Board of Directors as the top contenders for the LCW Universal Championship and the four men who would compete in the mini-gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for that title: Big Van Vader, Dr. Death Steve Williams, Nikita Koloff, and Superstar Billy Graham.

Graham's return to the ring last night on LCW Showdown was highlighted by a promise to win the Survival Project and go on to face LCW Universal Champion Magnum TA at the LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view in October. But will Graham, who has promised that this run, which could be his final run in Legends Championship Wrestling, will bring him gold get a chance to fulfill his personal prophecy before the Survival Project?

Or will Nikita Koloff, the most dominant LCW Universal Champion in LCW history, win the mini-gauntlet and go on to regain what he failed to regain at the LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view last Sunday night?

And what about Big Van Vader and Dr. Death Steve Williams? Will the brutal "I Quit" steel cage match the two bitter rivals had at the
LCW Caged Heat pay-per-view last Sunday night play a part in the mini-gauntlet match on LCW Showdown next week? And what role, if any, will Harley Race play? Race, now Big Van Vader's former manager and mentor, turned on him after he submitted to Williams in the "I Quit" steel cage match at LCW Caged Heat. Will he make an appearance during the match and will that appearance serve as a distraction for Vader or inspiration to prove his former mentor wrong?

Bockwinkel also announced last night on LCW Showdown that over the next six days the top four contenders for each title would be announced on LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com and this afternoon, Bockwinkel released the four names selected by the LCW Board of Directors who will compete in the mini-gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the LCW Television Championship: Macho Man Randy Savage, Kevin Sullivan, Billy Jack Haynes, and Brutus The Barber Beefcake. Which of these four men will go on to face reigning LCW Television Champion Ron Garvin? And could Garvin's title reign be short lived? Will Savage win the mini-gauntlet match and regain his title in two weeks? Or will Sullivan, Haynes, or Beefcake reign supreme and go on to challenge Garvin for the gold?
