[Breaking News] Honky Tonk Man May Already Be Out Of WWE Cyber Sunday Pay-Per-View

The Honky Tonk Man is claiming that he may not be able to wrestle Santino Marella should the fans vote for him to face the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion at WWE's Cyber Sunday pay-per-view event on Sunday, October 26th. Honky Tonk received an injury earlier in the year when he was wrestling on an independent wrestling show, and caught a guitar shot on the finger which required 18 stitches. He is claiming the injury may require surgery which would prevent him from wrestling Marella at the WWE pay-per-view.

Many believe the Honky Tonk Man to be the early favorite to win the voting in light of WWE's recent angle featuring Marella comparing his title reign to the Honky Tonk Man's legendary 64-week reign as the "Greatest Intercontinental Champion of All-Time" with the "Honk-a-Meter." Marella had a short program with Rowdy Roddy Piper earlier in the year and there has been talk of a return to WWE for Goldust, the two other legends as available options to fans voting.
