[Breaking News] Ric Flair Returns to WWE...again! Gone from LCW...again?

"If Ric Flair returns to WWE, he will never be a featured legend in LCW again! Retire and stay retired!" That was the message posted on LCW's official Twitter (twitter.com/lcwrestling) by LCW Founder Christian Calaway late last night. It is said that Calaway is irate about the news that Flair is making appearances on WWE television again, and plans are changing regarding Flair's storyline with Magnum TA which was to culminate in a main event match between the two at LCW SuperClash pay-per-view on June 14th.
Calaway was already uncomfortable with Flair's decision to work for Ring of Honor. A LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com staff member jokingly responded to an LCW fan's comment about Flair's appearance in LCW conflicting with his appearance in ROH, saying, ""Is anyone really watching them, anyway?" Calaway made it clear later that the joke was in poor taste and not reflective of the organization or his personal views towards Ring of Honor, a product of which he is said to be a fan.
Some of the legends aren't happy either. An unidentified source said, "If it was anyone else, we would have been pulled from the storylines, but no, Flair doesn't get pulled, does he?" However, that doesn't appear to be the case now. Calaway later posted on his Twitter that Showdown was being rewritten this week to accommodate the change in storyline direction. What was planned, we'll probably never know, but you can check out what will happen this week on LCW Showdown.
