[Survival Project] Sid Vicious: Master and Ruler of the Survival Project?

Moments after Kevin Von Erich drew a respectable number 31 in the drawing for the LCW Survival Project 50-man Gauntlet Tournament, held live this evening on LCW's Official Twitter account, LCW Heritage Champion Sid Vicious became the man to beat on September 6th at the Survival Project when he drew the much sought after number 50!

Vicious was more than confident, to say the least, after drawing number 50, saying after the drawing, "I just changed the game. I just rewrote the rules. I am the master and the ruler of the world, but on September 6th, I will be the master and the ruler of the Survival Project. When all is said and done, whether he's wrestled ten guys, fifteen guys, or even just one, the man who faces me at number 50 had better realize that he won't be getting past me. I won't just be the master and the ruler of the world after the Survival Project gauntlet tournament. I will be the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship and Stone Cold Steve Austin had better get ready to feel pain because I can guarantee him one thing: after the Survival Project, at Night of Horrors, I will become the master and the ruler of the universe when I win the LCW Universal Championship!"

Vicious took part in the inagural Survival Project gauntlet tournament in 2005, but hasn't taken part in the tournament since. In 2005, he eliminated five Legends before going to a 10-minute time limit draw with Bam Bam Bigelow. In an interesting side note, in the first Survival Project, the time limit for matches was 10 minutes (now 15 minutes). And eliminations were not only made by pinfall, submission, countout, or disqualifcation. You could also eliminate your opponent by knocking him over the top rope as in a battle royal. This was how Vicious eliminated Nikita Koloff, his first opponent when he entered the gauntlet tournament at number 26 in 2005, with a clothesline over the top rope.

How will Sid Vicious do in the 2009 Survival Project 50-man Gauntlet Tournament? Well, drawing number 50 means he only has to eliminate one Legend to become the number one contender for the LCW Universal Championship. Can he do it?
