[Breaking News] Bret Hart Signs Deal With WWE

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bret Hart has signed a short-term talent contract with WWE that will go into effect on January 1st, 2010, and expire a couple weeks after WrestleMania 26. It is now believed that Hart will indeed be the guest host of WWE Raw when it goes head-to-head with TNA Impact on January 4th.

LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway said, in a telephone statement to LegendsWrestling.com, "We're proud of what we've done with Bret Hart. He's been a major part of the company from our inception and we wish him nothing but the best on his return to WWE."

Hart, the reigning LCW Heritage Champion, is expected to stay with Legends Championship Wrestling through the end of the year, including an appearance at the LCW Endgame pay-per-view on Sunday, December 27th.
